The accomplishment of the camp is only possible because of the effort, dedication, collaboration and the caring of many people. It is sustained by donations and volunteer work, born by the compassion of each person involved. We would like to emphasize the importance of the people who, in many different ways, help us make our project possible. Férias Solidárias depends exclusively on the participation and the contribution of the people who are willing to dedicate their time, to donate money, winter coats, blankets, food or cleaning supplies, to spread the news of the project, to promote benefit dinner parties, etc. All the support we receive shows the strength of our ideal and the capability of moving people to embrace the project. Our project establishes partnerships with the local community so they can be part of the camp (making bread, selling fruits and vegetables, etc.) and the camp can, somehow, have a positive impact in their lives.
